Alternative Break Yavneh
December 25, 2022 - January 1, 2023
Spend a week making an impact by volunteering in Israel with children, the environment, people with special needs, and minority communities.
JNF-USA has been running Alternative Break trips to Israel for over 15 years. We have brought 2,700 college students and young adults ages 18-24 to get their hands dirty while making a difference for the land and people of Israel.
Travel:
1. Participants must choose from 3 Group flight options leaving from either Miami, New York or the West Coast on Dec 24th and returning on Jan 2nd.
*It is your responsibility to arrange travel to your chosen group flight
2. Contact Rebecca Craft for extension options rebecca@traveland.net
First come, first serve
**All students flying on group flights will be responsible for a refundable $250 deposit. Once you return home from the trip,
JNF-USA will reimburse you to same form of payment.**
Yavneh Students: Group flights do not apply to you. You must book travel to be at Ben Gurion Airport by 6pm on Dec 25th (this means flying out on Dec 24th) and must fly out of Israel after 10pm on Jan 1st (landing back in the US on the 2nd)
Each day of the trip is comprised of volunteering, touring, education, and independent time in the evenings and on Shabbat. Each participant is responsible for raising a minimum of $900 from at least 5 unique donors for JNF-USA's Blueprint Negev Campaign dedicated to expanding the South of Israel by doubling population and supporting employment, healthcare, education, and cultural development in the region. Once you reach your fundraising minimum, JNF-USA reimburses your round-trip flight to Israel (paid out after the trip), accommodations, most meals, and medical insurance.
Jewish National Fund-USA is committed to running a healthy and safe in-person volunteer experience. The health and safety of trip participants is, and will always be, JNF-USA’s top priority.
