JNF-USA Israel Resilience Campaign
As we continue to process the impact of the ongoing and devastating attacks on Israel, one question on all of our minds is, “How can I help?”
Jewish National Fund-USA has launched our "Israel Resilience Campaign" to support the thousands of people being forced to flee and evacuate their homes in the shadow of war. We have ongoing, longstanding relationships with the communities on the border with Gaza, and our JNF-USA Israel Operations Team is on the ground and in communication with these local communities to determine their immediate and critical needs.
Right now, we have identified the following needs, which we will adapt and change daily to ensure that we provide the most effective support:
• Providing them with necessary supplies such as bedding, soap and shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, socks, etc.
• Providing firefighting and protective equipment to manage the ongoing rocket fire which is destroying homes, farms, infrastructure, and businesses.
• Providing high-quality and tailored psychological treatment for civilians, including children, who have experienced this catastrophe firsthand.
• Packages of essential to wounded civilians and soldiers, packed by our High School in Israel students.
• Providing respite activities for the children traumatized by terror.
• Finding and procuring scarce and vital security-related protective equipment to include radios, bulletproof vests, helmets, and tactical clothing.
