EMERGENCY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FUND CAMPAIGN
IMMEDIATE NEED:
Communities in Southern Israel need emergency funding today, and rebuilding funding tomorrow. JNF-USA’s Housing Development Fund has their back.
UPDATE FROM SOUTHERN ISRAEL:
More than 10 of our housing communities hit.
-Reim, one of our new communities, was the location of the Nova Music Festival which led to hundreds of innocent deaths.
-Sderot is swarmed with terrorist and families forced into hiding into JNF-USA bomb shelters.
-Nahal Oz has been bombarded by hundreds of rockets, and has lost 12 residents, and more have been kidnapped.
-In Elifaz, we have an emergency situation. Elifaz is a little community along the Jordanian Border, part of Eilot, neighboring Timna Park. They had wonderful plans to expand and grow; however, today they have raised an immediate need to equip their Emergency Community Forces with Ceramic Bulletproof Vests.
These are our communities. The JNF was there before the war, and we will be there after the war to rebuild.
JNF evacuated and is caring for over 15,000 civilians from these communities. We are currently housing them, providing them necessary supplies (such as bedding, toiletries, clothing, etc.), coordinating psychological support and health care, entertaining the children while their parents fight in front lines, and helping them with everything they need.
Over the course of the next few months, we will need to continue to support these communities that had to leave their homes.
REAL ESTATE COMMUNITY CALL TO ACTION:
As members of the real estate community, we can have a role in giving Israel and members of these communities affected by war the hope that we will help them to re-develop the homes and infrastructure that was destroyed by Hamas.
We are raising money to help these communities that sit on the border to give the residents the hope that we will revitalize and rebuild the region’s houses and infrastructure and improve the quality of life for all residents of Southern Israel.
Please consider making a donation to the Jewish National Fund, the original real estate developers of Israel, for our Emergency Housing Development Fund Campaign.
