In Memory of Guy Simchi Z”L
On the morning of October 7th, 20-year-old IDF Sergeant Major Guy Simchi was home on leave when Hamas attacked. He did not run. He led twelve friends through active terror to safety, fought off terrorists with his bare hands, and saved thirty lives. Every single one survived to tell his story. Guy did not.
A Program Built for This Moment
In the years since October 7th, Israel has learned something painful: winning on the battlefield is not enough. The war for Israel’s story is being fought just as fiercely on screens, in classrooms, and in the court of global opinion — and Israel is losing it.
In Guy’s memory, the Simhi family and Hashomer Hachadash are building Israel’s first leadership program dedicated entirely to training mesab’rim — young men and women who will go out into the world equipped with the knowledge, voice, and conviction to defend and tell Israel’s story wherever they go.
The program will be rooted in Arad, on Israel’s southern frontier — because planting motivated young leaders in the Negev is itself an act of national commitment. The desert builds resilience, focus, and a deep connection to the land Israel must never stop fighting for.
We are raising $150,000 to establish the an educational center at the campus of this Leadership Program. Every dollar brings us closer to the generation of voices Israel desperately needs.
