While I've been re-sharing other people's posts and stories, I'm struggling to find my own words. While I've only visited once, Israel is and always will be "home." I come from a long lineage of zionists, and my own father fought in the Israeli Defense Forces over 50 years to protect the land of our people. When I joined the Austin Board of Directors of the Jewish National Fund this summer, little did I know that less than two months into my term, our world would be torn apart, with more Jewish lives lost in one single day since the holocaust, and no end in sight.

Regardless of your religious or political beliefs, your Jewish friends need your support and all of the innocent victims need your help . If you are able, please consider donating.
