Hope in Every Step! Help Build the Halutza Community Running Track...

A few years ago, with the help of many of you, Mindy and I built a sports field in Halutza, an extraordinary community located near the borders of Gaza and Egypt.
Together, we created a place where children could play, laugh, compete, and simply be kids despite the challenges of living in one of Israel's most challenging regions. The impact has exceeded anything we could have imagined. The field quickly became the heart of the community and inspired others to step forward and build additional facilities, including basketball courts, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a ninja obstacle course. What began as a single field has grown into a true sports campus for the children and families of Halutza.
Then came October 7th. The field suffered a direct missile strike during the attacks. While heartbreaking, it also reinforced why these projects matter so much.
The people of Halutza rebuilt, repaired the field, and the children returned to play. Their resilience remains nothing short of inspiring.
Today, Mindy and I are excited to help write the next chapter. We are spearheading the construction of a running track that will encircle the entire sports complex. This project is especially meaningful because it reflects one of Mindy's greatest passions. She has completed more than 20 marathons, including all six World Marathon Majors. Running has brought her friendships, challenges, accomplishments, and a lifelong commitment to health and wellness. Our hope is to bring those same opportunities to the people of Halutza. The track will serve runners, walkers, children, athletes, soldiers, and families throughout the community. It will provide another healthy outlet for a population that has endured extraordinary challenges while continuing to grow and thrive. Just as the field became a gathering place for the community, we believe the running track will become an important part of daily life for years to come.
