In Memory of Morris & Dorothy Kleinberg

In memory and in honor of our beloved parents, Dorothy & Morris Kleinberg z"l, we will be joining with JNF to plant a forest in Israel. Our parents survived the Holocaust, unlike most of their respective families, and met and were married in Israel in 1959. They passed away 4 weeks apart, with our mother passing away 3 days before their 60th wedding anniversary. To us, it was just another sign of how devoted the two of them were to each other and how they needed to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary together. We chose to plant a forest in Israel, because it was a forest that helped shelter both of them during the Holocaust. Our father fought with the Partisans and once remarked at age 98, when it was pouring on the way home from shul and being asked if he wanted to be pushed in a wheelchair to get out of the rain, "I lived in the forest for 3 years, what's a little rain". Our mother too survived for part of the war in a bunker by a forest. Our parents were ardent supporters of Israel and their wisdom and legacy will live with us forever. What better way, we felt, to commemorate their lives than being able to plant a living forest in Israel. Ann & Larry Cohn and Family Rhonda & Craig Parson and Family
