Thank you for honoring our dad, Robert. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and friend. He loved Israel and visited many times. In his memory, we are raising funds to help rehabilitate the Carmel Forest near Haifa. When forests in Israel are ravaged by missiles, arson or wildfires, KKL-JNF takes upon itself the immense task of rehabilitating them, so that they can be enjoyed by people and wildlife once again. Rehabilitation includes removing burnt trees, encouraging natural regeneration, monitoring progress, and installing fire-breaks and water points to protect against future fires.
