In Memory of Ross David Muller

Our beloved son, Ross David Muller, z"l, lost his life on Jan 16, 2012, at age 25. Ross was a beautiful person and a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. He was playful, witty, fun-loving, outgoing and very friendly. He loved sports, snowboarding, poker, fishing, cooking and hanging out with family and his dozens of friends. It's been nearly six years but it's still impossible to believe that he is gone. We feel his presence and we are so grateful for the 25 years we were gifted to be with him. The day after Ross died was a blur and someone unexpectedly asked if we had a preferred charity for donations in his memory. Many good causes came to mind but the image of trees growing in Israel came into view with clarity and the feel of purpose and tranquility. The next day we contacted the JNF and set up the Ross David Muller Memorial Grove in Israel. Family and friends generously donated and have continued to do so annually on his birthday, April 18, or around his yahrzeit in January. It's hard to believe that from the initial donation of 5 trees, Ross's Grove now has over 2,000 trees! Our long term goal is to reach 10,000 trees. At that point the grove will be reclassified and will be established as the Ross David Muller National Forest, a permanent destination in Israel. We hope you will use this webpage to add a few trees to Ross's Grove and share a thought or memory. A $5 donation equates to one tree and any size donation enlarges the grove and supports the important work of JNF in continuing to strengthen Israel via ongoing projects involving infrastructure, community development, water conservation, environmental protection and technology. Our family is deeply comforted knowing that each year Ross's trees are growing in size and in number, leaving an enduring, living gift in his memory that provides shade, shield and sanctuary in Israel, enriching the lives of all who inhabit the land. Our son loved Judaism and Israel and we are so grateful that we had the opportunity for an extended Israel visit as a family when he was a teen. He would be very gratified to know that his memory remains vibrant in the hearts of all who knew him and that his life force continues to inspire acts of giving in a manner that promotes life, growth, sustenance, and strength within Israel and the Jewish people. Thank you for donating to Ross's grove. Your gift will live on for centuries. Eden & Jeff

Please help me support Jewish National Fund by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will help the memory of my loved one live on and help to support the land and people of Israel. The donations and Tzedakah I raise for my loved one are so meaningful to me.
