JNF-USA Nefesh B'Nefesh Ukraine Emergency Campaign

South Florida

South Florida

It’s been inspiring to see organizations and individuals mobilizing around the world to support Ukraine during this unprovoked war. Ukraine is home to one of the world's largest Jewish communities and its historical and spiritual roots run deep. An estimated 200,000 Ukrainians qualify for Israeli citizenship under the Law of Return.

Jewish National Fund-USA is providing an emergency relief and rescue aid program for Ukrainian refugee olim through our affiliate Nefesh B’ Nefesh.

South Florida is funding 5 Evacuation Buses going from Ukraine to Poland and ultimately to Israel.

OUR REGION HAS FUNDED 3 BUSES IN 5 DAYS! Help us fund two more buses.

Emergency Funding Bus Transportation Breakdown:
TOTAL PRICE OF ONE BUS = $30,000
• Border Bakshish- $5,000 – Especially in Moldova
• Odessa-Kishinev: $15,000. One stop at border.
• Lodging, food, hygiene products in Odessa- $60/person
• $1,000 per bus/day- security
• Paid staff in each city= 10 total + baby supplies + unique needs

Israel currently has 471 IDF Lone Soldiers from Ukraine in current service as part of the Nefesh Lone Soldier Program. We are now helping their families safely arrive in Israel.
• Using Jerusalem Campus as a collection site for hygiene products, clothes, toys, and additional supplies for the incoming Olim (immigrants) from Ukraine.
• Organizing shipments to deliver these products to the distribution centers.
• Offered NBN’s Tel Aviv Hub to groups who have created “command centers” to manage their vital operations and undertaken to help sponsor some of their activities.
• Leveraging network of Tech companies to help Ukrainians find gainful employment.

We would love for you to consider contributing an amount meaningful to you for this timely humanitarian initiative. Thank you for your friendship and support of our Homeland and the Jewish people.
