Hello! My name is Amina, I am a 22 year old Carleton University Global and International student traveling to Israel this coming spring, 2023. As you may know, travel to Israel can be expensive. Especially for a young student like myself! Thus, I am looking for scholarships, grants and actively participating in fundraising opportunities to help offset the cost. A little about me is I am an Afro-Canadian student who is passionate about Human Rights, Social Change and International Development. I am a founder of the Shorties4Change non-profit located in my city of Ottawa and part of The Womxn Collective Cohort. A curated peer-learning community for women and gender diverse leaders that tackle inequality, climate and nature crisis in partnership with the charity MakeWay.

In regards to my involvement with the Jewish community, I am an active learner who has taken many courses regarding Jewish history and the Jewish religion both in High School, University and Independently.
