My name is Ari. I am a high school student and want to spend next year in Israel, building a stronger connection, supporting the land and its people and strengthening communities. Participating in the JNF’s Plant Your Way project is my first step toward this goal. JNF has planted millions of trees and built forests, parks, and green spaces across Israel. These projects improve air quality, stop erosion, support wildlife, and give families healthier places to spend time. I am raising funds for a Mechina gap year in Israel. A Mechina is a year-long program in Israel for students after high school. It includes learning, volunteering, leadership training, and community work. It gives students real involvement in Jewish life and Israeli society. The Mechina program will help me to grow my Judaism while providing me with the opportunity for hands-on volunteering and help me to form my future interests and goals. I hope to build connections with people from different countries and form friendships that last. Your support helps me reach this goal and supports Israel through JNF’s work. Every contribution helps the land. It helps the people who live there. It helps me move toward a deeper connection to Israel and my Jewish identity. If you have questions, feel free to reach out! Sincerely, Ari
