This summer (2022), I’ve had a lot of fun on my first Jewish summer program. The sticker price of the trip was $8,700, so I needed 3 non-parental funding sources in order to make it happen for me.
Next summer (2023), I hope to attend a summer program venturing to Israel and Italy. I’ve started to look into what funding options would be available to me and there’s a $3,000 grant that I’d be able to qualify for, but the remaining cost is still out of reach.
I’ve always wanted to travel to every single continent (including Antartica). However, I have been unable to venture outside of North America so far. Going on this voyage would allow me to go to two continents (Europe and Asia) that I’ve wanted to step foot on for a while.
During summer 2023, I hope to further my journey as a Jewish person and traveler by going to Israel/outside North America for the first time.
