Hi everyone, This year, I've been given an incredible opportunity to spend a year in Israel learning, growing, and deepening my connection to Judaism. I will be attending seminary, where I'll be able to study Torah, explore my identity, and build a stronger foundation for my future. For me, this isn't just a gap year; it's something I've been thinking about for a long time. Growing up, I've always felt a strong connection to Israel and to my community, whether through school, camp, or the people around me. Choosing to spend a year there is my way of investing in that connection and really understanding what it means to me on a deeper level. At the same time, this journey is a big financial commitment. That's why I'm partnering with the Jewish National Fund, an organization that supports Israel in so many meaningful ways; from building communities and supporting people in need, to environmental projects and developing the land. Through this fundraiser, not only will you be helping me get to Israel, but you'll also be supporting important projects that strengthen and sustain the country itself.
