Two years ago, I was enrolled in the JNF affiliated Alexander Muss High School in Israel. You were kind enough to support me then. But when the October 7 massacre happened, I was sent back to America (over my objections).
I went back to Israel a year later on the Ramah Seminar program, only to have to leave early because of the Iranian missile attack, to my great disappointment.
In the fall, I’m going back, and this time, by hook or by crook, I will not return until the year is over. I will be studying at a wonderful seminary, Machon Maayan. I’ll be able to study Talmud as much as I want, perfect my Hebrew skills, and then do professional internships at medical institutions and, hopefully, at the JNF-affiliated International Resilience Center in S’derot.
The cost of the year-long program is $32,000, and I would greatly appreciate any support you could give me. Jewish National Fund will reimburse me 50% of what I raise as a scholarship through the Plant Your Way to Israel program.
