This fall, I’ll be attending Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI) for four months, and I couldn’t be more excited. Everyone I’ve spoken to who has attended AMHSI says the same thing: it changed their life. Each person has a different favorite memory, but they all describe it as a truly transformative experience.

For me, the chance to study history where it actually happened is something I’ve dreamed of. I can’t wait to explore Israel through hands-on learning and immersive activities that will deepen my understanding of the world, of Jewish history, and of my own identity.

AMHSI holds a deep and personal significance for my family. Thirty years ago, my mom was a student in the program, an experience that left a lasting impression on her. My dad contributed to the school’s mission as a member of the staff, helping shape the experience for others. More recently, my cousin Samantha attended AMHSI in 2018. The program had such a powerful impact on her that she has since returned to Israel nearly ten times and is currently living there.

This strong family legacy speaks to the transformative nature of the AMHSI experience, one that we’ve witnessed across generations. It’s more than just a program to us, it’s a deeply rooted part of our family's identity and connection to Israel.

I’m also incredibly honored to have been selected as a JNF Impact Fellow where I will be an ambassador for the AMHSI program. I’m raising money for Jewish National Fund-USA so that other students can receive scholarships and have the chance to experience this life-changing opportunity too.

If you’re able, I’d be so grateful for your support. Every donation, big or small, helps give another student the chance to grow, learn, and connect with their heritage in a truly meaningful way.

Thank you in advance for supporting a cause that means so much to me. I can’t wait to share this journey with you!
