JNF has so many incredible projects they are involved with in Israel and the World. I hope to bring attention to many of them through my page, however, the first one is a project that I feel committed to. It is a school which brings together Jew and Christian, Arab and Muslim to help vulnerable communities in developing countries to learn about renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, water management and social-ecological research all with the intention of making this world a better place for everyone. Students from around the world come to Israel to the Arava region, and learn about these life changing issues to take them back to their own countries. They attend tuition free, however the institute needs funding for computers, grants to graduates and extracurriculars.
Give a person a fish, they will eat for a meal, give them the tools so they can fish themselves, they can eat forever. This school is giving back to those in vulnerable communities so they can eat forever.
