JNF Israel -- Fundraising for Individuals with Disabilities & Special Needs

I am very exited to share that I am working with the Jewish National Fund (JNF) to try and raise money for people with disabilities in Israel. My interest for helping people with special needs grew as I entered high school and joined the Adaptive Ski program at Camelback Resort in Pennsylvania. Over the past two years I have been volunteering every Sunday of the ski season to give people with disabilities the opportunity to get out on the slopes. It has been one of my greatest high school experiences and has given me a much greater understanding and appreciation for ability.
When JNF presented me with the opportunity to do a fundraiser for Israeli individuals with special needs and receive a grant towards my tuition for my upcoming semester in Israel, I immediately jumped at the idea. I became even more excited when I was looking for organizations to donate to and found one for people with disabilities and special needs. The choice was obvious. People with with disabilities and special needs want to have fun and enjoy life like anyone else. By supporting the JNF program for individuals with disabilities, you will be providing the funds necessary for these individuals to enjoy activities you and I take for granted.
