I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative and raising funds for important projects in Israel. I first heard about Alexander Muss High School in Israel from a friend this summer at Crane Lake Camp. She told me about how much fun she had learning about Israeli and Jewish culture and history and exploring all of Israel with her friends.

She told me that this is a once in a lifetime experience so I knew I had to take this opportunity while I can. Learning about my ancestors' religion and culture has always interested me. I have always wanted a chance to learn more. To see it up close, with my own eyes helps me to better understand it.

The organization I am raising money for, the Jewish National Fund, is supporting Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. The money that I am raising will go to Israel’s Fire and Rescue Services, the first responders on the ground throughout Israel. I encourage you to watch some of the videos on the page to learn more about them.

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel.
