I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative and raising funds for important projects in Israel. Jewish National Fund is supporting Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. I have chosen to raise funds for Ukrainian refugee aid because my family is Ukrainian. My mom, uncle, and grandparents immigrated from Ukraine to the United States in the early ’90s. Because of my family’s connection to Ukraine, I feel a deep compassion for the loss and struggles so many people there are going through. I want to do what I can to help, and the best way I know how is to provide aid and support to those affected by this devastating war.

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience. This will ensure my opportunity to learn and explore more about my own connection to the land and people of Israel.
