Shalom (hello),

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! Second semester this year (January to May) I will be attending Heller High, a high school/Jewish study abroad program. The school is located in the Judean Hills outside of Jerusalem.

I want to go to Israel because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about events from the Torah, and then actually see those locations. I’m excited to be surrounded by other Jewish kids my age as we celebrate our religion and grow as Jewish adults together.

I am raising money to support Israelis with special needs and disabilities so they can be included in Israeli society. The Jewish National Fund (JNF) runs multiple projects that achieve this including the following:
* integrating special needs individuals into the Israeli army (IDF)
* supporting adults with the most severe developmental disabilities to live independently and receive support services
* providing therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with disabilities
* making parks and nature accessible to people with physical and visual impairments, children on the autism spectrum and those using wheelchairs

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant to be used for Heller High, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel. Please consider supporting this important initiative and my efforts to meet my fundraising goal. No amount is too small; together we can make a difference.

Toda raba (thank you),

Ethan Rapoport
