Hi,

In April, I have the privilege of finishing my Junior year of High School in Israel. I will be attending Alexendar Muss High School in Israel.

To prepare for my experience, I am excited to be participating in the “Dream Israel Teen Initiative,” raising funds for important projects in Israel.

Jewish National Fund is supporting Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. The money that we raise will go towards funding several important initiatives.

The program that I have chosen to support is so incredible! It’s called “Specials In Uniform.” Per their website, they are “a highly trained squad of elite soldiers that’s entirely made up of disabled and autistic teens”

“Special in Uniform” is a Jewish National Fund-USA program that includes young adults with disabilities into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). They strongly believe that everyone should be included and has “the right to reach his or her full potential.”

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support. I will also have the opportunity to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel.
