I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative and raising funds for important projects in Israel. Jewish National Fund is supporting Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. The money that I'm raising will go towards Livnot B'yachad (לבנות ביחד), which is an organization dedicated towards rebuilding Israeli kibbutzim and communities in the Gaza Envelope that were devastated by the October 7th attacks, as well as the ongoing war with Hamas. This cause is especially meaningful to me because I have family in Israel that lost many friends and loved ones in the massacre of Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7th. Because of this personal connection, rebuilding and repairing the communities that were brutally massacred on that day is something that I hold close to my heart.

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience. In Israel, I would do a mini-mester with Alexander Muss High School (AMHSI), learning more about daily life in Israel and connecting me further with the land and the people.
