I have an incredible opportunity to spend a semester abroad at the Alexander Muss High School in Israel. It's a trip I've been really excited about, and it feels like the perfect time to explore a new part of the world.

What makes it even more special is that I'll be going with my best friends since preschool, Alex and Noah. This trip is so much more than just a fun time with my friends; it's an opportunity to take in a new culture, to experience Israel on my own terms, and to make lifelong memories.

To prepare for the trip, I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative which raises funds for important projects in Israel. The project I'm focusing on is Israel’s Fire and Rescue Services, given how bad wildfires have been in both Israel and California.

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel.
