I’m pursuing an incredible opportunity through Dream Israel – a fundraising platform through the Jewish National Fund (JNF). This initiative raises money to support people with disabilities and special needs in Israel, and I’m aiming to raise $5,000 to support some truly impactful projects.

These projects include:

-Integrating people with special needs into the Israeli Army (IDF)
-Providing adults with severe developmental disabilities with the resources and services they need to live independently
-Offering therapeutic horseback riding programs for children and adults
-Making parks and nature more accessible for individuals with physical and visual impairments, children on the autism spectrum, and those using wheelchairs.

As someone who has always been passionate about helping others, this cause is incredibly important to me. I currently volunteer with children with special needs through Keshet, and I also take an Art Essentials class at New Trier that includes students with special needs. These experiences have deepened my commitment to ensuring that people of all abilities have equal opportunities to thrive, and I believe strongly in the Jewish value of inclusion.
