I am very excited to share that come fall semester I will be studying in Israel for the start of my senior year! I applied and was accepted into the Alexander Muss High School in Israel. As a part of the process all US based teens are required to fundraise for one of a few charities. I chose to help people with disabilities and special needs in Israel. This was a “no brainer” decision for me as I have seen my mom working so hard to help the kids in her school district grow and succeed no matter their disability.

The Dream Israel Teen Initiative is a vital part in raising funds for important projects in Israel. The Jewish National Fund uses this opportunity to support Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. The money that I am raising is going towards inclusion for Israel’s special needs population! When I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my semester and schooling, ensuring that I get the chance to further explore my connection to the land and people of Israel.

As a part of the school experience I will be taking an Israeli Studies class as well as a Hebrew class which I am very excited about. I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Israel in March of 2023 and absolutely fell more in love with the country and its people. I love going on hikes and exploring historical sites.
