Shalom Everyone,
I’m excited to be spending a semester abroad studying in Israel with the Ramah TRY program.
Through the JNF Teen Travel Initiative, I have the opportunity to raise funds for important causes in Israel. In return, JNF will provide a grant to help make my study abroad possible.

The organisation I’ve chosen to participate with is Livnot B’yachad, which is dedicated to rebuilding communities in the Israel Envelope (Otef Aza) after the devastating October 7th attacks. This cause is deeply personal to me because my grandmother lived in Kibbutz Nirim, one of the communities that was attacked and would be rebuilt through this organisation. By donating to my fundraising page, you would not only be supporting the afflicted and their communities, but also supporting the next generation of Jewish and Zionist teens and their connections to Israel.

Israel is an extremely special place for me and my family, and having the chance to study there during high school is a beyond incredible and unique opportunity. HBHA has inspired me so much to learn Hebrew and explore my Jewish roots, I felt the best next step would be to immerse myself in Israel. This experience will allow me to expand my spiritual and academic connections, whilst bonding with other Jewish peers.

שמי ספיר, ואני נרגשת לקחת חלק בסמסטר בירושלים במסגרת תוכנית תיכון רמה ירושלים. ישראל היא המקום המיוחד ביותר עבורי ועובר משפחתי, וההזדמנות ללמוד בה במהלך התיכון היא ייחודית ומדהימה. בבית הספר שלי, קיבלתי השראה רבה ללמוד עברית ולחקור את שורשיי היהודיים, והרגשתי שהצעד הבא יהיה ללמוד בישראל. חוויה זו תאפשר לי לחזק את הקשרים הרוחניים והאקדמיים שלי, תוך כדי למידה וחיים בארצנו. כחלק מיוזמת הטיולים לנוער של קק״ל , אני מגייסת כספים למטרות חשובות בתמורה, קק״ל תעניק לי מענק שיסייע במימון לימודיי שם

הארגון שבחרתי הוא ״לבנות ביחד״, ארגון המוקדש לשיקום קהילות העוטף לאחר פיגועי ה 7-באוקטובר. מטרה זו היא אישית מאוד עבורי מכיוון שסבתי גרה בקיבוץ נירים, אחת הקהילות שהותקפו, ויבנו מחדש באמצעות ארגון זה. על ידי תרומה לדף הגיוס שלי, לא רק תתמכו בקהילות שנפגעו, אלא גם בדור הבא של בני נוער יהודים ציונים והקשר שלהם לארץ
