I’m raising funds through the Dream Israel Teen Initiative to support the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center, a fortified safe-space for kids living on Israel’s border with Gaza.

Families in Sderot live with constant rocket threats. When a siren goes off, they have only a few seconds to reach shelter. For kids, that means outdoor playgrounds, parks, and even simple daily activities can become dangerous without warning. The Indoor Recreation Center was built to give them something every kid deserves: a place to play, learn, and just be normal without having to sprint to a bomb shelter every time an alarm sounds.

The center is reinforced with heavy steel, fully shelter-rated, and filled with classrooms, sports areas, play spaces, and therapy rooms. It lets thousands of children in the region play safely no matter what’s happening outside.

All donations go directly to Jewish National Fund-USA to help maintain and support this critical facility for Sderot’s kids.

If I reach my fundraising goal, I’ll also earn a grant toward my Israel program, where I’ll get to visit and see the impact of this project firsthand.
