Since October 7th 2023, the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center has become a lifesaving place. Sderot is a city just over half a mile from Gaza, and everyone living there can’t be more than 15 seconds away from a bomb shelter. The Sderot Indoor Recreation Center is a giant rocket-resistant playground. It is a safe place for families to go when they need shelter quickly.
I am participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative to fundraise for the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center that is pictured above by JNF. My profile picture is a photo of me in Tel Aviv 7 years ago. I was 8 years old, and having an amazing time on my trip to Israel. I didn’t have to worry about bombs and terrorist threats. Unfortunately all over Israel, and especially in Sderot, there is now a constant threat. I want to raise money for the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center to give all those kids a safe and normal feeling childhood.
As I prepare to study in Israel at AMHSI this winter, I ask that you please join me in donating to the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center.
