The project I have chosen to raise money for is the JNF Sderot Indoor Recreation Center. Sderot is a town in Israel near the Gaza Strip. This is a very dangerous place to live as it is constantly under fire. Families have to remain indoors and near a bomb shelter at all times in case of an emergency. This makes it difficult for the 3,000 children living in Sderot to enjoy their childhood. Safety is extremely important and so is the wellbeing of the children living there. JNF has taken the initiative and built an indoor recreation center in Sderot, which has helped the kids live life to the fullest.

Growing up, Tikun Olam (community service) and Judaism have been a big part of my life. I am a preschool teacher, babysitter, and camp counselor which is why I gravitated towards this project and is why I am passionate about helping the children of Sderot.

If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to JNF's support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel. Please consider supporting this important initiative and my efforts to meet my fundraising goal.
