Hi friends and family!
I'm so excited about my opportunity to study in Israel this summer with AMHSI. Through them, I am participating in the Dream Israel Teen Travel Initiative and raising funds that will support the inclusion for Israel's special needs population.

The inclusion of people with disabilities and special needs into Israeli society is a fundamental Jewish value. The money that I raise will go towards integrating special needs individuals into the Israeli army (IDF), supporting adults with the most severe developmental disabilities throughout their lifespan to live independently and receive support services, providing therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with disabilities, and making parks and nature accessible to people with physical and visual impairments, children on the autism spectrum and those using wheelchairs.

If I meet my fundraising goal, the Jewish National Fund will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel.
