My Dream Israel: Teen Travel Initiative by JNF Fundraising Page

Drew Shore
Hi,
My name is Drew and I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative and raising funds for important projects in Israel! Jewish National Fund is supporting Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. The money that participating teens, like myself, are raising will go towards funding several important initiatives.
I have chosen to raise money for the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, Arava International Center for Agricultural Training (AICAT) and Center for Creative Ecology at Kibbutz Lotan. These programs are preparing future leaders from Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and other counties around the world to cooperatively solve the ever increasing effects of climate change on agriculture and the food insecurity faced by people all over the world, but especially in arid climates like the middle east. They study the latest agricultural techniques for farmers growing in arid climates, including organic farming, permaculture, natural architecture, alternative energy, community and peace building strategies.
If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my semester abroad in Israel, allowing me to have the opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, immerse myself in Israeli culture, and to explore my own connection to the holy land and people of Israel. Please consider supporting this important initiative and my efforts to meet my fundraising goal.
Thank you!!
