The ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Rehabilitation Village (formerly ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran) was named in memory of Eran Almog, the late son of Didi and Major General (Res.) Doron Almog. Fueled by his love for Eran, who was born with severe autism and intellectual disabilities, Doron Almog guided the creation of an expansive residential and rehabilitative complex in Israel’s south that has become a home and family for more than 150 children and young adults with severe disabilities and complex medical conditions, and provides a host of rehabilitative solutions for individuals from all backgrounds and levels of need. ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran provides a wide range of services, including residential care for people with multiple disabilities and complex medical conditions, an intensive care hospital wing for babies and adults, a para-medical center, hydrotherapy pool, special education school, green care farm, and a therapeutic horse stable and petting zoo. As chairman of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, Doron Almog continues to lead and guide the village’s progress and advancement. As one of the founders of this unparalleled rehabilitative village and a recipient of the 2016 Israel Prize for lifetime achievement and contributions to society and the state, Doron stands as a symbol of disability care and inclusion who advances a crucial social message: “The strength of the human chain is only as strong as its weakest link.”

Support ADI Negev-Nahalat Eron/My Dream Israel: Teen Travel Initiative by JNF
Gabrielle (Ellie) Roberge
Gabrielle (Ellie) Roberge
I am excited to be participating in the Dream Israel Teen Initiative and raising funds for important projects in Israel. Jewish National Fund is supporting Israel and Israelis in a number of different ways. The money that participating teens are raising will go towards funding several important initiatives: Inclusion for Israel’s special needs population, support for the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center, Israel’s Fire and Rescue Services, Environmental Studies scholarships for students at the Arava Institute and AICAT, and for Project Baseball.
If I meet my fundraising goal, JNF will provide me with a grant towards my own Israel travel experience, ensuring my opportunity to meet Israelis whose lives have been changed due to our support, and to explore my own connection to the land and people of Israel. Please consider supporting this important initiative and my efforts to meet my fundraising goal in support of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran which aligns with my community service here in NY where I work with children & teens with special needs at the JCC of Mid-Westchester.
