Help Me Support Children and Families in Sderot
Emma Wolpoff
Emma Wolpoff
Thank you for visiting my page.
This year, I’m participating in Jewish National Fund’s Dream Israel Teen Initiative, where I’m raising money for the Sderot Indoor Recreation Center in Israel.
Families living near the Gaza border deal with rocket attacks regularly, and many only have about 15 seconds to get to a bomb shelter when sirens go off. It’s hard for me to imagine growing up with that kind of fear as part of everyday life.
The Sderot Indoor Recreation Center gives kids a place where they can feel safe and still get to do normal things — play sports, dance, climb, learn, and spend time with friends. The building was specially reinforced so it can also be used as a bomb shelter to protect children during attacks.
I wanted to be part of this project because I think every kid deserves to feel safe and have a normal childhood, even during difficult situations.
My goal is to raise $5,000 for this project. If I reach my goal, I’ll also receive a $7,000 grant to study in Israel through the High School in Israel program, Tichon Ramah Yerushalayim (TRY) next Spring. I’m really excited about the opportunity to experience Israel in a deeper way and meet people whose lives have been impacted by programs like this.
If you already support JNF and haven’t made your 2026 donation yet, I’d really appreciate it if you donated through my page. And if this is your first time donating, I hope you’ll consider supporting this project.
Any amount honestly makes a difference, and I’m really grateful for your support.
Thank you so much!
