My name is Max Harvey, and I have the amazing opportunity of spending a semester studying abroad in Israel this spring. I will be living and going to school in Jerusalem for 4 months. This is the trip of a lifetime for me!

To help subsidize the cost of my semester in Israel, I am fundraising for the Jewish National Fund. For every $1 that I raise, the Jewish National Fund will contribute $1.50 toward my trip. The funds I raise will go to help build an indoor playground for children in Sderot, a small city in Israel only 0.65 miles from the Gazan border. Due to its close proximity to the border, residents only have seconds' warning of incoming rocket fire. The indoor playground will give children a bomb-proof place to play without the fear of having to run for safety at a second's notice.
