As many of you may know I am planning to attend Alexander Muss High School in Israel this upcoming spring semester. The mission of AMHSI is to inspire, connect, and empower Jewish teens through immersive, experiential learning in Israel. I have chosen to work with and support The JNF's Disability and Special Needs programs which is a cause that reflects my passions and values.
Through peer mentoring at Highland Park High School and working at Camp Soar, I’ve seen how powerful it is when people of all abilities feel included, supported, and celebrated. Those experiences have shaped who I am and shown me that creating spaces of belonging is the kind of work I want to dedicate my future to.
Supporting JNF gives me the chance to carry that mission forward. Their programs build accessible housing, inclusive parks, and opportunities for independence that can create real change in people’s lives, and I’m proud to be part of it. By connecting my time in Israel with this cause, I feel I’m both preparing for my own future and making a difference right now.
To make this journey possible, I am working to raise $7,500 by December 11th. Every dollar raised goes toward both supporting this important cause and helping me attend AMHSI through the Dream Israel Grant program, which helps students like me fundraise for meaningful projects in Israel while making our semester abroad possible. Your support, whether through a donation or by helping me share my goal, would mean so much.
Am Yisrael Chai!
