Please join me in raising money to plant trees in Israel for my Mitzvah project. A Mitzvah project puts a little bit of good into the world to make the world a better place. For my Bat Mitzvah project, I am planting trees in Israel.

Trees are important to Israel, not just to improve the environment, but also because of the spiritual significance in the Jewish faith. In Judaism, the life cycle of a tree closely mimics that of the human life cycle. Therefore, planting a tree represents the idea of human life.
