Hi my name is Chloe Gidney and during this past summer, I was lucky enough to spend 6 weeks in Israel through Alexander Muss High School In Israel. I was part of their newly founded Explore Program that allowed students to travel around all of Israel and learn about the culture, history, and importance of Israel. It was not until I found out what happened on October 7th, that I was able to truly grasp how impactful the AMHSI program was to me. Because of Alexander Muss High School In Israel, I now have a second place to call home. Israel provided me with the opportunity to explore a foreign country, make lifelong friendships, and it taught me the importance of being proud to be Jewish. Whether you experienced AMHSI, have been to Israel, or are Jewish at all, I feel that it is so important to support the beautiful country of Israel.
