Families in the Israel Envelope have endured unimaginable trauma and displacement since October 7. As Israel continues to face war and the region prepares for years of recovery, Jewish National Fund-USA’s Build Together plan is helping communities rebuild—stronger, safer, and with renewed hope.

A centerpiece of this effort is the Ofir Libstein Regional Athletic Complex in Sha’ar HaNegev, a transformative project designed to restore quality of life and support emotional and social healing.

More than a sports facility, the complex will be a hub of resilience, wellness, and community life, offering:

Athletic fields, tracks, and recreational spaces

Resilience-building programs and mindfulness workshops

Activities for children, teens, college students, and people with special needs

A gathering place filled with energy, movement, and cheering crowds

It will bring families together, support mental health, create jobs, and signal to the world that the people of the Israel Envelope are here to stay.
