Please help me support Jewish National Fund by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Jewish National Fund's great cause!
Together, we can make a difference!

Here are some of the JNF projects that our Task Force has recently funded:
• Four hundred bomb shelters that provide cover during terrorist rocket attacks
• Indoor playgrounds hardened to provide a space for children to exercise and play, safe from rocket attacks
• Resilience Center where children and adults receive treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder due to rocket attacks
• Innovative Animal Therapy Program for traumatized children
• “Groove Tech” Center that teaches children about cutting edge technology. Includes a Virtual Reality Room and a 3-D printer.
• Tri-Regional Music Initiative. JNF-USA distributes musical instruments to children and provides music instruction by means of scholarships. The children then give concerts that enrich the cultural climate for residents.
• Large dairy facility that provides employment to local residents, as well as dairy products
• Hydroponic garden for the efficient cultivation of food crops
• Housing Development Fund to create new communities. JNF fronts the money for infrastructure. After the communities are established, the Israeli government repays JNF’s investment. JNF then uses the repaid funds to build more new communities. The fund also provides financing so that families can build homes.
• Fire trucks to respond to massive fires created by the terrorists’ incendiary rockets
• Lauder Employment Center for job development, training and placement

Sharing a recap of what JNF is currently doing with funds raised: · Evacuating 14,000 residents from Gaza border communities to safer places—the State covers the evacuation of everyone within 4 kilometers of the Gaza border but everyone within 7 kilometers must be evacuated – the entire area has become a closed military zone. · We have evacuated 2,200 people to the Eilot region, 1,500 people to Ramat Hanegev, 1,500 people to Central Arava, and more every day. · Providing evacuees with necessary supplies such as bedding, toiletries, clothing, etc. · Providing firefighting and protective equipment for civil defense – the first responders to community emergencies -- including radios, bulletproof vests, helmets, and tactical clothing. · Providing high-quality psychological treatment for civilians, including children, who have experienced this catastrophe firsthand. · Providing respite activities for the children traumatized by terror. · Going from home to home in the cities of Sderot, Ofakim, and Arad to help the elderly, the infirm, and the needy with food and medicine. · Promising to rebuild communities devastated by the attacks and keep the spirits and hopes of the people who live there, strong. · Caring for the children whose parents are on the Ovda Airforce Base in the Negev so the parents can continue their vital work protecting our homeland. · Supporting families that have been evacuated from 28 communities in the north near the Lebanese border.

I don't have the words to express how I have felt over the past 2 weeks. And I am absolutely aware that I am not alone. Prior to Oct 7th massacre, I was incredibly inspired by the work of JNF that promoted prosperity, peace and success of this amazing country. Post Oct 7th, in clouds of war, sadness and anger, I continue to find inspiration from this amazing organization and the leadership role they are playing with supporting the people of Israel. Also, prior to this act of savagery I thought our JNF Israeli partners had permanent smiles and infectious positive outlook on life, but now I see raw emotion from people that have had their worlds rocked. Yet, they remain resilient and stand ready to support each other, fight and rebuild. I hope that some of you will consider joining me in donating money that will go directly to supporting Israel now and rebuilding it for the future.
