Signature Project: The Eshkol Regional Community Center in Halutza is designed to enrich the lives of the region’s children and residents, serving as a hub for the entire northwestern Negev. The 34,000 square-foot center will provide a space where residents can hold community celebrations, meetings, social gatherings, art exhibits, concerts, and more—essential to the growth and quality of life for all those who call the region home.
Additionally, IDF soldiers stationed nearby will utilize the facilities, from health and wellness to the vast auditorium, where they can enjoy concerts and more. The Community Center represents hope for the future for the families of Southern Israel. The state-of-the-art facility will significantly enhance the quality of life for local residents, and become a destination and a draw for those living further from the region, with facilities and offerings that will rival any community center in Tel Aviv. Over time, the center will also bring in revenue, from membership fees and ticket sales, making it a valuable addition to the region not just for the health and mental well-being of the residents, but also an engine for economic growth.

We have agreed to raise funds needed to build a treatment room in the The Eshkol Regional Community Center which will allow all residents from children, adolescents and adults as well as IDF soldiers to be treated for their mental health illnesses.
Managing conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Treatment and recovery support for alcohol and substance use disorders.
Addressing how behaviors alter physical health, such as managing stress, eating habits, or the emotional toll of chronic illnesses .
I can't imagine living 3 miles from Gaza, 3 years after October 7th and still hearing sirens. The continuous mental health strain must really take a toll on their mental health to say the least.
