Thank you for visiting my Mitzvah Project fundraising page.

Basketball is an important part of my life, and I'm so lucky that i get to play it with my friends many times a week. I've never stopped to think that I'm also lucky to play sports in a safe environment without having to give my safety much thought.

I recently found out that on October 7th, a rocket hit a playing field in the Israeli community of Halutza, along the Gazan border. Children make up 68% of the population in this community and need sports as a safe outlet from other traumas going on in their lives right now.

JNF-USA is in the final stages of building an all-purpose sports complex in Halutza. This complex will have the ability to house lacrosse, soccer, football, and other team sports. The covered structure includes an attached bomb shelter large enough to hold the capacity of the stadium.

The stadium is $25,000 away from completion of Phase A, which I am proud to be fundraising for in honor of my Bar Mitzvah. Help me support Jewish National Fund by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. I personally will be donating some of my own money to help support the cause.
