HaShomer HaChadash was founded in 2008 and aims to connect the next generation with the land of Israel as well as ensure the future of food security in Israel. The Kent Family was one of the first American families to volunteer with HaShomer HaChadash in the summer of 2011 in Israel and has supported the organization since then.
