Throughout Israel’s history, its growth and success have been attributed to visionary pioneers, thought leaders, and social entrepreneurs who have built the Jewish state over the past century. Today, MAKOM actively works to address the challenges facing Israeli society and creating sustainable solutions to ensure a strong future for the State of Israel and all its residents.

MAKOM is ensuring immediate needs of tens of thousands of Israeli residents with the following:

• Caring for soldiers and reservists basic needs

• Caring for over 20,000 mothers of children with husbands called up to reserve duty, providing meals, shopping, activity kits and babysitting services.

• Caring for over 100,000 displaced people, including: immigrants, families, individuals with special needs and senior citizens.

• Caring for over 30,000 people unable to evacuate, including: immigrants, senior citizens and individuals with special needs.

To support these efforts, please consider donating:
$50 funds an individual at a community Seder
$180 funds a group session of art or music therapy for 15 children/teens
$360 funds a month of trauma therapy for an individual
$1,000 funds outdoor activities for a week for 50 teens (busses, trips, snacks)
$1,800 funds 40 food packages for families that lost their jobs (not in hotels)
$3,600 funds a month of after-school activities for 100 children
$5,000 funds community Shabbat meals for 50 families (not in hotels)
