The heavenly, peace-seeking communities along the border with Gaza were turned into hell at the break of dawn on October 7th. Within hours Jewish National Fund was on the ground and in communication with the kibbutzim and moshavim devastated by the attacks, ensuring immediate needs were met. Having worked closely with these communities for decades, we know them better than anyone else. Moving forward, JNF will be there when they start to rebuild their lives in the future.

- Supporting the immediate and long-term security needs of each of the Israel Envelope communities, including building Emergency Response Centers to encompass local security organizations

- Providing high-quality psychological treatment for civilians, including children, who have experienced this catastrophe firsthand.

- Promising to rebuild communities devastated by the attacks and keep the spirits and hopes of the people who live there, strong.

- A commitment to economic growth with incentives to small businesses and farmers, including loans and venture capital funds for startups, as well as training, tourism, development, job placement, and infrastructure.

- Providing firefighting and protective equipment for civil defense – the first responders to community emergencies -- including radios, bulletproof vests, helmets, and tactical clothing.

We are preparing our community partners in the north for the possibility of an expanded conflict by requisitioning portable bomb shelters for community spaces.

This attack has decimated many communities, but they will never destroy our spirit. We stand together, as one Jewish community, ready to help Israelis in this difficult time. Am Yisrael Chai.
