Lotem is a sanctuary. It is a place which truly is what Judaism is all about: We Are All One. It is a welcoming environment where all may enjoy nature and God's beautiful surroundings no matter what our abilities and gifts are.

Lotem makes hikes and educational nature activities available to children and adults with special needs. These include individuals with visual and hearing impairments, physical, intellectual and emotional challenges and children on the autism spectrum. They also help at risk youth, mothers and children residing in shelters for victims of domestic violence. I saw first hand how Lotem transformed the lives of those fortunate enough to work and volunteer there. It is an anchor for the community and for all who visit. A place that rescues our spirit.

Lotem is a place to fall in love with humanity and Israel. It is all about KINDNESS, kindness, kindness.
