Over the course of preparing for Harry bar mitzvah on February 4, 2023, we have searched for a project that spoke to the essence of Harry. We are proud of Harry's perseverance in preparing for this important day, but also the perseverance he shows in so many aspects of his life. From a very young age, Harry has found peace and wonder in the outside world and has taken great delight in hiking in nature and swimming. To honor Harry's love of nature, we wish to support JNF's LOTEM accessibility projects, which provide outreach to those with a variety of challenges. Projects include ensuring that Israel's many hiking trails and other popular outdoor sites are widely accessible. Our family will be matching funds generously donated here with a gift locally to the Brandywine Conservancy, which supports open space, tree planting and conservation near our home in Paoli, PA. Harry and Elisa are also undertaking volunteer work with the conservancy to do our part to beautify and protect our community. We thank everyone for supporting Harry in this important step in his growth and maturity.
