Shalom! My name is Marco and for my Mitzvah project, I wanted to raise money to plant trees in Israel. I have a strong connection to my homeland. Since I was young, my mom would donate and have trees planted in honor of myself and my siblings. Now that I am becoming a young Jewish adult I wanted to start my own mitzvah.

Planting trees in Israel is starting new life in Israel for the next generation. As a tree develops strong roots, planting a tree symbolizes a lasting connection to the land of Israel and to the Jewish legacy
