All Israelis are required to serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) after high school. Previously, disabled and autistic individuals were unable to participate in military service, and they were left out of this core Israeli experience.

Special in Uniform (SIU) is a JNF program that integrates disabled individuals into the IDF. SIU focuses on the unique talents of each participant to help find a job within the IDF that is a perfect fit for their skills. The attention is on the ability, not the disability, and encouraging independence and integration into society.

Money donated here will fund JNF's SIU work, which includes:
- Independent living skills training
- Sign language classes to eliminate the barriers of hearing loss
- Training SIU soldiers to treat and train dogs in canine units
