Tu BiShvat On Campus
CELEBRATE TU B'SHABBAT ON CAMPUS
A Nationwide Shabbat Dinner Celebrating the Original Earth DayTu BiShvat, the original Earth Day, marks the onset of spring, a time of hope and renewal. There’s no better way to show you believe in light and life over darkness, than by planting trees for Israel.
This Tu BiShvat, you can help rehabilitate the Be’eri Forest, located alongside the region bordering Gaza, which suffered the most brutal massacre in Israel’s history on October 7 and is still enduring the consequences of rocket attacks and war. You can mark the “new year for the trees” and the start of 2024 with a glimmer of hope, and the promise to replant, restore, and revitalize 120 acres of the Be’eri Forest.
In addition, this year it is more important than ever to plant:
To show your love for our homeland
• In recognition of brave IDF soldiers and those on the frontlines
• As a beacon of hope for the hostages and their families
• As a memorial to someone who passed away
• In honor of your heroes and the important people in your life

Join us in celebrating this year by hosting a Tu B'Shabbat on your campus, to help celebrate life and plant trees in Israel!
How does it work?
Any student in college is invited to sign up to be a Tu B'Shabbat host and join us for our nationwide program. Signing up to be a host is a commitment to bringing your community together for a Shabbat dinner during the weeks leading up to Tu BiShvat, and selling trees to be planted in Israel.
Program Features
- When you sign up as a host, a fundraising page will automatically be created for you to start selling trees!
- Hosts will also receive a special Shabbat guide from JNF on Campus with talking points about Tu BiShvat and how to sell trees!
- The top 3 hosts to sell the most trees will receive 20% back in the form of a sponsorship for a positively Israel event on campus up to $1,000!
The program will run from January 19 - February 3, 2024.
