CELEBRATE TU BISHVAT ON CAMPUS

Planting Trees & Hope

Tu BiShvat or, as we call it, the original Earth Day, marks the onset of spring, a time of hope and renewal. There’s no better way to show you believe in light and life over darkness than by planting trees for Israel.

This Tu BiShvat, you have an incredible opportunity to support the land and people of Israel in a real and meaningful way. As forests in Israel's north and south have been destroyed over the last year of conflict, much of the natural beauty, habitats, and health of the land have been impacted. This year’s Tu BiShvat on Campus will focus on replanting those forests, replenishing our deep roots and allowing Israel to bloom again.

In addition, this year it is more important than ever to plant:
• To show your love for our homeland
• In recognition of those on the frontlines, our brave Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers!
• As a beacon of hope for the hostages and their families!
• As a memorial to someone who passed away!
• In honor of your heroes and the important people in your life!

Join us in celebrating this year by encouraging friends, family and other organizations on your campus, to help celebrate life and plant trees in Israel!
As a token of our appreciation, to honor our commitment to the Land of Israel, and to celebrate the “Holiday of the Trees,” Jewish National Fund‑USA will provide a beautiful tree certificate to all who plant a tree ($18.00 donation) or more.

How does it work?

1. Find your Campus Team from our list of active teams. Don’t see your school? Register your team here!
2. Share your Campus Team page with friends and family so everyone can buy trees to be planted in Israel this Tu BiShvat!
3. Campus organizations have individual pages on each Campus Team. Donate to your favorite campus organization or to your school’s Campus Team. Either way, every dollar raised adds up to your school’s total!

The top 2 schools to raise at least $3,500 or 195 trees will receive 20% back in the form of a sponsorship for a Positively Israel event with JNF on Campus, up to the value of $1,000!

The program will run from January 6 - February 28, 2025.
